What is the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program?

The Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program connects you with the biggest names in Automotive Digital Marketing as a way to provide choice in who supports your website. Each website platform will present your site with a unique look and feel, and will offer templates, allowing you to customize your online presence. The Program will seamlessly integrate Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles, Mercedes-Benz Vans, and smart campaign content, offers, and incentives into your website.

What is a Mercedes-Benz Digital Consultant (“MDC”)?

The Mercedes Digital Consultant role is dedicated to assisting you with platform and advertising choices in the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program. They handle all program related questions, including enrollment, and contact you at least twice a month to review your digital performance. The MDCs are not incentivized on sales and do not have provider preference. The MDC is an expert in all Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Programs and platforms, and they maintain the relationship with you even through certified provider changes.

What type of creative services can a MDC provide?

The MDC will be able to assist with simple content updates such as updating specials, designing web tiles, building pages, and more. If you require further creative support and/or custom content, there will be additional paid options available.

Certified Website Providers

Am I required to enroll in the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program?

Yes. All dealers are required to select one of the Certified Website Program providers as part of the Mercedes-Benz dealer operating standards. Enrollment will provide you with integrations, analytics, and special pricing.

How many providers will I be able to choose from?

Four Certified Website Program providers will participate in the program.

Which providers have been certified?

Dealer.com, Dealer Fire, DealerOn, and Dealer Inspire.

Where can I learn more about the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program providers?

Each provider has recorded webinars to demo their product. Additionally, the Mercedes-Benz Digital Consultants (MDCs) are available to offer unbiased program information or connect you with providers to learn more.

Transitioning to the Program

Who do I contact with questions regarding the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program?

The MDC team is available to answer questions regarding the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program. To contact a MDC, please email info@mbdealerdigital.com. Dealers should expect an introductory phone call from a MDC with the purpose of collecting important information for the enrollment period and to answer program questions.

I already have a website from a Certified Website provider. What will I need to do?

If you already have a website with one of our Certified Website Providers, you still need to enroll in the program. Your MDC will contact your dealership individually to discuss transition requirements and eligibility.

What happens to services (including secondary sites) with providers NOT INCLUDED in the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program?

Individual dealers are responsible for managing any cancellations for services outside of the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program.

Will I be without a website at anytime?

No, your MDC will ensure that your new website is up and running before your previous website is cancelled. Enrolling in the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program early will ensure a smooth transition to your new highly functional and effective website.

What will happen to dealer website leads?

Dealer website leads will continue to be delivered the same way they are now. However, by receiving leads through the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Digital Program, dealers will get better insight into lead and source performance.

What happens if I don’t enroll through a certified website provider?

All dealers are required to select one of the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program providers as part of the manufacturer's dealer operating standards.

Website Management

How will I manage my new website?

The MDC team will be your main point of contact for any changes or questions you have regarding your website. MDCs are available to update your website, and will interface with the certified web providers for any major change requests.

How will I be able to check the performance of website metrics?

Advanced metrics and reports, including lead source performance reports will be provided via an online portal with additional reports and analysis available through a MDC.

Can I use my own URL for this program?

Yes, you will be able to purchase and use a vanity URL for this program.

Billing

How long is the contract period for Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program?

There are no long-term contracts in the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program. The contract period for all programs and services is month-to-month to provide flexibility. If a dealer migrates to a different certified provider, they will maintain digital consultant support and reporting through the Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Program.

How will Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Programs be billed?

Mercedes-Benz Dealer Website Programs will be billed directly to a dealer's parts statement (some digital advertising and a la carte products will be billed directly to the dealer, please reach out to your MDC for more information).

Will group discounts be offered?

No. Package pricing will offer best in class program value by leveraging brand purchase power and provider competition.
